In a statement by the foreign affairs ministry, Cairo denies taking side in Sudan’s war.
It said Egypt’s sole role focus was on ending the war and protecting the civilians.
“These allegations come amid intensive Egyptian moves to stop the war, protecting civilians and strengthen the international response to humanitarian relief plans”. The Ministry said in the statement.
In video message on Wednesday, The Head of Rapid Support Force said his fighters had come under fire from Egyptian war planes and dones in Jabal Moya Mountain range, which connect the states of sennar , Al JAZIRAH and White Nile.
Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo alias Hemedi claimed that Sukhoi 29 fighters jets belonging to Egypt had bombarded RSF position in Jabal Moya for hours on October o5, following Sudaness Army to retake area.
It is not the first time Hemedi who himself accused of receiving Emeriti weapons, Cites Cairo’s environment in the war in Sudan.
Sudan war now in its second year, has killed ten thousands and forced over 10 million out of their homes. Both sides have been accused of committing atrocities.
The Sudanese Army Forces (SAF) recently gained upper land in the fight that erupted in April 2023 , when long-simmering tension between arm Chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Dalgo broken out in a conflict that has no far displaced more that 10 Million people – about 8.1 million people inside Sudan , while about two Million have been forced to flee the country , according to the data from the United Nation.
“If the America were not in Agreement , these bombs would not reach Sudan” Dalgo said.
He continue: “Egypt is fighting Us”. He said accusing it for being one of the six countries of interfering in the conflicts , including Iran.
